Up & Coming Events - Waterford

There is always something happening in Waterford. Throughout the year numerous festivals and events take place within the city. Some of the major events taking place this year in Waterford include:

• Spraoi Festival - (August 4th, 5th & 6th - Bank Holiday Weekend) - is one of Ireland’s most exciting and fastest growing annual street festivals
• Trá Festival - (July Bank Holiday Weekend) - A weekend of music, song and street entertainment.
• Tramore Races - (Jan 1st, Apr 9th & 10th, June 2th & 3rd, Aug 17th-20th, Oct 12th, Dec 31st) - always an enjoyable day out at the Races
• International Festival of Light Opera (date to be confirmed) - staged annually at Waterford Theatre Royal since the late 1950’s.
• Blue Grass Music Festival - (August Bank Holiday Weekend) - Dunmore East.
